Product / En-route Messaging

Coming soon

Keep customers informed without stopping to type.

"When will the tech be here?" is one of the most common calls a service business gets. En-route Messaging keeps customers updated so your team doesn't have to stop and text.

Coming soon. On the roadmap. Not available yet. This page describes how En-route Messaging is being designed to work.

Heading to the next job (example)
  1. Mike:

On my way to the Smith job.

  2. billbill:

Got it. I told Sarah you're on your way with a 2:15 PM ETA.

The problem

Customers don't mind waiting. They mind not knowing.

A quick heads-up prevents the "are you still coming?" calls, and a delay notice keeps a late arrival from becoming a bad review.

What it's designed to do

How En-route Messaging will help

  • On-the-way texts

Let the customer know a technician is heading over, with an estimated arrival time.

  • Running-late notices

Send a polite delay update in seconds, before the customer has to ask.

  • Hands-free for techs

One short text or tap from the tech. billbill writes and sends the customer message.

How it works

Three simple steps

  1. Step 1

    Tech heads out

They send a quick text or tap to say they're on the way.

  2. Step 2

    Customer is updated

billbill sends a friendly message with the ETA.

  3. Step 3

    Delays handled

If plans change, the customer gets a heads-up right away.

Questions

Does it track my technicians' location?

No. Updates are based on what your tech tells billbill, not on continuous location tracking.
